R-Kelly goes viral on social media after a video of him singing in prison surfaces on the internet. The RNB singer was charged with 21 charges of child pornography in Chicago in June 2002. On June 5th, 2002 he was arrested by the Maimi Police Department at his Florida vacation home due to a Chicago arrest warrant. After spending one night he was freed the next day after securing a $750,000 bail.
However, after pending investigations, he was arrested again, all charges being acquitted in 2019 after years of gathering evidence he was arrested on 21 counts of child pornography and this was where his career started declining in its peak until it all ended. After many trials, he was sentenced to 30 years in Prison on added counts of sex trafficking, racketeering, and the production of child porn.
The video of him circulating all over social media shows the disgraced singer singing and cleaning while in prison. The singing however causes humor and commentary on X as the song is deemed inappropriate for a prison setting as he was singing one of his songs ‘Bump and Grind’ which causes the ironic commotion on X given his current charges.
