RICK ROSS AND DRAKE’S ASSOCIATES GOT INTO A VIOLENT BRAWL IN CANADA WHEN HE PLAYED A DISS TRACK BY KENDRICK LAMAR CALLED “NOT LIKE US.” THE INCIDENT HAPPENED ON CANADA DAY, AND IT GENERATED A RANGE OF RESPONSES ON SOCIAL MEDIA. WHILE SOME USERS MADE FUN OF RICK ROSS’S REACTION DURING THE CONFRONTATION, OTHERS CHASTISED HIM FOR GETTING INVOLVED IN A DISPUTE THAT DID NOT DIRECTLY AFFECT HIM.
Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been beefing for quite some time now. The two music moguls have been taking shots at each other and have been putting their pens on paper in the booth releasing one diss track after another. However, Kendrick Lamar’s diss track to Drake blew up bigger than we could all ever imagine. The diss track ‘Not Like Us’ has gotten so much traction and engagement so much so that it became one of the most played songs in clubs and it has been reported that even kids know the song. Drake has been seen getting upset at fans over this song.
50 Cent did not want to be left behind in this story so he came out on social media showing his humorous “concern” to Rick Ross about what happened, and he said Rick Ross should’ve done things differently.
. However, Drake fans were also reacting at the fact that after Drake called Rick Ross’s baby mama “my goat”, he commented pedophile vs goat.
So, it’s safe to say musically there is war between the Canadians and Americans started by Kendrick Lamar and we are all here for it, who will win this one, will it be Kendrick Lamar or the Canadian rapper Drake?
