The prodigal son returns! After a year of killing it in Europe, Siya Kolisi has confirmed that he’s heading back to South Africa, re-joining the Hollywoodbets Sharks from Racing 92, and Sharks fans couldn’t be more excited.
In a heartfelt statement, Kolisi shared his mixed feelings about leaving France but made it clear that it was time to come back to the place he truly calls home. “My family and I have enjoyed a wonderful year abroad that has given us cherished memories,” he said. “But we have missed South Africa, and it is time to come home.”
While his time at Racing 92 was a dream come true, playing alongside amazing talent, Kolisi knew his heart was always in Durban. “Racing 92 is a great club steeped in tradition with an impressive group of players, who I can now call brothers for life,” Kolisi said, expressing his gratitude.
