In a statement shared on Sunday, Lamar confirmed the news, saying: “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why,” and adding with swagger he said: “They got the right one.”
Set for the 9th of February 2025, the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans will transform into a rap battleground during Super Bowl LVIII. The NFL’s annual showpiece event is known not just for the thrilling football but for its halftime concerts that are must-watch moments for fans of music and sport alike.
It has previously been headlined by the likes of musical Hall of Fame: Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Madonna, U2, Rihanna, and more. Kendrick Lamar is ready to claim his spot as one of Super Bowl greats.
