Kim Kardashian is all for supporting her daughter, North West, but when it comes to taking the stage herself? Well, let’s just say she knows where her talents lie — and performing is definitely not one of them.
On the latest episode of The Kardashians, the reality star and entrepreneur, along with her ex-husband Ye (formerly Kanye West), made a special appearance to cheer on their daughter as she made her Hollywood Bowl debut. North, who has certainly inherited a flair for the dramatic, took part in a dazzling performance at a 30th-anniversary celebration of Disney’s The Lion King.

Kim, always the doting mom, was visibly overwhelmed by pride, but she also had a bit of a reality check when it came to her own abilities. As North got ready backstage, Kim couldn’t help but let her emotions flow.
“I’m gonna just cry the whole time,” Kim confessed, admitting she was a mix of nerves and excitement. “I couldn’t be more proud,” she added, clearly in awe of her daughter’s growing stage presence.
However, Kim also had some light-hearted reflections on her own mom-management skills, joking that she was definitely not ready to follow in her mother Kris Jenner’s legendary footsteps. “I’m not ready for my pantsuit and my short haircut,” she quipped. “But if there’s one thing that makes sense for her to do, we’ll consider it. And I loved this for her.”
When a producer tossed out a cheeky question about whether Kim would ever consider performing herself, her answer was simple, honest — and definitely not in the cards.
“Absolutely not,” she said without hesitation, adding that she couldn’t even imagine taking the stage the way North did. “I couldn’t do what she’s doing on Dancing with the Stars at 30, so no. I froze.”
A sharp contrast to her daughter’s natural talent, Kim recalled her own less-than-glorious stint on Dancing with the Stars back in 2008, when she competed in Season 7 and finished in 11th place.
