Award-winning singer Amanda Black has finally spoken out and denied the untrue rumours associating her with rape claims against fellow musician Sjava.
The rumours started after a video emerged online, in which Amanda was seen breaking down emotionally on stage.
The video, which was uploaded by a user on X, carried a misleading caption suggesting that Amanda was crying over flashbacks of being assaulted by Sjava. This led to an outpouring of sympathy from social media users who believed the accusations to be true.
Amanda took to her social media to address the rumours. “Hi everyone. I don’t know where these rumours originated, but they are untrue and did not originate from me. Sjava did not sexually assault me,” she wrote, laying the allegations to rest.
