In a shocking twist that no one saw coming, Grammy award-winning producer and composer of The Lion King, Lebo M, has been hit with a jaw-dropping allegation involving his estranged ex-wife, Pretty Mthiyane.
Pretty allegedly stole and sold his priceless Blüthner grand piano, worth millions of rands. The shocking discovery was reportedly made by Khanyi Serakeng, Lebo M’s Associate, Producer, and Project Coordinator.
According to reports, Pretty, who is allegedly no stranger to fraud matters, has a history of misusing Lebo M’s finances and engaging in several fraudulent transactions during their marriage.

The expensive piano was found to be missing on Monday during preparations for rehearsals for Lebo M’s highly anticipated collaboration with Hollywood music legend Hans Zimmer, set to take place at the Grand West Arena in Cape Town on April 18.
According to Maphepha Ndaba, sources close to situation revealed that Pretty, who was previously divorced by Lebo M due to fraudulent activities—including forging his signature and stealing money—was the mastermind behind this scheme. She allegedly arranged for the piano to be delivered to an address in Fairmont before flipping it in what’s being described as a shady under-the-table deal.
In response to drama, Simphiwe Majola, Lebo M’s publicist, told publication that the matter is currently sub judice, meaning it’s under judicial consideration and not for public comment at this stage.
“What I can say is that Lebo M is entirely focused on delivering a world-class performance alongside Hollywood royalty Hans Zimmer in Cape Town next week. This show is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and that remains his top priority right now,” Majola said.
This is just the latest chapter in a messy saga between the former couple, with Pretty’s past behaviour reportedly involving everything from signing deals in Lebo M’s name to questionable financial dealings.
