Dr. Pertunia Mathibe, a General Practitioner (GP) and the founder of The Centre for Body Sculpting in Pretoria, has been reported to have passed away. Dr. Mathibe was known for her expertise in liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs), attracting numerous high-profile clients and celebrities to her clinic.
Her medical aesthetic practice offered services such as liposuction, butt lifts, aesthetic gynecology, anti-aging treatments, and vitamin drips. Dr. Mathibe’s work had earned her a strong following in South Africa’s beauty and wellness community.
While the official news of her passing has not been confirmed, rumours have been circulating following a post on her business Instagram account. The message read: “Please note that all consultations for Thursday, July 31, at Dr. Pert Centre for Body Sculpting have been cancelled,” sparking concern and speculation across social media.
Adding to the speculation, South African media personality Dineo Moloisane shared her grief on social media, posting a series of emojis of tears and heartbreak, which many interpreted as a confirmation of the tragic news.
