Award winning actress and artist Zola Nombona stars in the Ezimnyama Ngenkani documentary, offering a deep dive into the legendary Orlando Pirates football team.
She took to Instagram to share her excitement, revealing just how special this opportunity is to her.
“A dream come true. I’ve always been a fan of sports documentaries—soccer, rugby, gymnastics, and more. As an emotional athlete, I’m fascinated by the journey athletes go through—the training, challenges, history, and strategies,” she shared.
The documentary, which focuses on the Orlando Pirates, holds special significance for Nombona, who is a long-time supporter of the team. “When I was offered the chance to be part of telling the story of my favourite soccer team, I was overwhelmed. I’m truly grateful to be part of this incredible story,” she added.
