Each year, Comic Con Africa delivers on its promise of immersive fandom experiences—and 2025 is no exception. With the international celebrity line-up now officially announced, fans can look forward to an unforgettable long weekend at Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, from August 28 to 31. From cult TV favourites to blockbuster film stars, this year’s guest list offers something for every pop culture fan.
Global Names, Local Stage
The Main Stage at Comic Con Africa is where fandom meets reality. This is the heartbeat of the event, where fans can attend live Q&As, hear behind-the-scenes stories, and engage with the stars who’ve brought their favourite characters to life.
But the experience doesn’t stop at the stage. For many, the real thrill lies in meeting these stars in person—a signed collectible, a shared moment, or a photo that becomes a lifelong memory. Autograph and photo opportunities will be available as add-ons to any standard Comic Con Africa ticket, making the dream of meeting a pop culture hero a reality.
