Multi-award-winning artist Sjava is set to drop Inkanyezi 2.0 Live EP on September 5, a new release that continues the emotional journey of his original Inkanyezi Live EP, which had fans hooked with its raw intimacy and spiritual depth.
Recorded over two unforgettable nights at the Joburg Theatre on August 15 and 16, Inkanyezi 2.0 delivers five new live recordings that reflect the magic, vulnerability, and connection that define Sjava’s stage presence. The EP according to Sjava doesn’t just capture songs, it captures moments, energy, and shared experiences between him and his audience.
Described as “the full blaze” following the spark of the first Inkanyezi, the project dives deeper into the heart of Sjava’s music. It blends his soulful vocals with live instrumentation, crowd energy, and storytelling that resonates across generations.

The EP includes collaboration with Maskandi legend Shwi, rekindling their chemistry from the fan-favourite Ithuna off Sjava’s platinum-selling album Isibuko. Also featured is acclaimed producer and multi-talented artist Zadok, known for his genre-bending sound and influential role in shaping South Africa’s modern music scene.
