Actor and film director Rob Reiner was found dead in his Los Angeles home, alongside his wife Michele Singer Reiner. In a TikTok video by @ABC7LA, an investigation was being conducted in the couple’s home in Brentwood on Chadbourne Avenue. Two bodies were found deceased in the home, and unfortunately, they were the bodies or Rob Reiner and his wife.
As of right now, no arrests have been made, but a source reveals that their son Nick has been taken in for questioning as a primary suspect in connection to the two deaths.
However, during a press conference in Brentwood, Deputy Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, Allen Hamilton, said that the police are not looking for anyone in the Brentwood area as a prime suspect at this point as they are still investigating the murder.
Rob Reiner will be remembered as an icon in the world of film as he is notable for his contributions in roles such as Michael “Meathead” Stivic in All in The Family, Max Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street, and Marty DiBergi in This is Spinal Tap. He will also be remembered for his contributions as a director for films such as The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, and The Sure Thing.
His wife, Michele Singer Reiner, leaves behind a legacy as a special photographer on Rob’s 1990 horror film, Misery. She also provided her skills as a producer on the 2025 film, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues.
There has been no confirmation regarding details of the couple’s death, but further information will be released in due time by the LAPD. For now, investigations are still under way.
