Kabza De Small Releases New Singles For a Heartfelt Project

Kabza like you’ve never heard him before, in two new lead singles for his upcoming album, “Tutu”.

The Amapiano pioneer collaborated with vocalists Mkeyz and Zawadi Yamungu in two new vocally strong tracks, “Impilo” with Mkeyz and “Khanya Njayo” with Zawadi Yamungu. These two singles form one part of his upcoming album, “Tutu”, and will build one cohesive sonic structure that serves as an ode to his late grandmother.

“Phenomenal woman, I present to you, Tutu. My grandmother, this body of work is my dedication to her memory.” Kabza stated in an emotional announcement via Instagram.

The contents of this album will serve to be some of his most personal creations, but will also encourage a spirit of celebration, honour, memory and pride throughout the listening process. Holding space for grief can also be accompanied by reflecting on the good memories and expressing the freedom that comes with a loving memory of those that are no longer in our lives.

Across many South African cultures and households, grandmothers play a pivotal role as familial pillars. The tracks that will embed the importance of “Tutu” will share messages of sacrifice, strength and a love that knows no bounds. These are the attributes grandmothers uphold to shape our lives.

Following the success of his 2025 album “Bab’Motha”, “Tutu” will continue Kabza De Small’s reign as a pioneer at the forefront of the Amapiano movement.
