Self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, his wife Mary, and three others are expected to find out if they will be released on bail.
Earlier this week Magistrate Thandi Theledi postponed the matter, saying she can only give it full attention on Friday.
The five have been in custody since Tuesday, last week.
They are facing charges of fraud, theft, and money laundering to the value of over R100-million.
The State, which is opposing bail, says it needs more time to investigate.
The Bushiris say they can’t be held while investigations continue.
