The Home Affairs Department has reinstated the visa-free status of citizens from at least eleven countries. This to revive the ailing economy and accelerate recovery under lockdown level-one.
The free status of citizens of some territories had been suspended during the hard lockdown and now Minister Aaron Motsoaledi has met with senior immigration officials and port entry managers.
Citizens from the following countries will have their free visa status restored but the current COVID-19 regulations remain in place.
South Korea
Spain
Italy
Germany
Hong Kong
Singapore
USA
UK
France
Portugal
Iran
