Deputy President, David Mabuza will deliver the keynote address at a World Aids Day commemoration event in Soweto.
Mabuza will deliver the address in his capacity as chairperson of the South African National Aids Council (SANAC). South Africans have been urged to make the right health choices.
The country has the biggest HIV epidemic in the world, with approximately seven-million people living with the virus and accounts for a third of all new HIV infections in Southern Africa.
With coronavirus gripping the world, the fight against other illnesses and disease have taken a back seat. The year’s also proved challenging for many who needed chronic medication.
