The controversial dancer, socialite, and businesswoman Zodwa WaBantu’s real name is Zodwa Rebecca Libram, she was born on October 30, 1985.

Zodwa WaBantu rose to fame after being spotted dancing at a Durban based Eyadini Lounge, ever since she come into the spotlight, the Queen of Vosho never looked back. She acknowledges that people made her hence embracing the Wabantu name.

Zodwa once dated Khanyi Mbau’s husband, then multi-millionaire Mandla Mthembu, Mandla spotted Zodwa who was a general hand at a local drinking spot. Questions were raised when Zodwa told Khanyi Mbau that her son Vuyo was Mandla’s son which made him a stepbrother to Khanyi Mbau’s daughter.

During an interview with popular podcaster and media personality Mac G, Khanyi Mbau revealed that Mandla Mthembu’s love for Zodwa WaBantu was real while she referred to herself as Mandla’s trophy wife.

Zodwa Wabantu gave birth to a son named Vuyo in 2006. She has made it clear that everything she does is to ensure the 14-year-old’s financial security. She sent him to the best schools and proudly revealed he has never failed a grade.

Zodwa WaBantu is worth $350 000, she made her $100 000 in 2018 after signing a contract with MojaLove to star in her own reality show, Zodwa WaBantu Uncensored.

The entertainer also earns R65 000 plus per appearance and has an endorsement deal with a Durban medical center that specializes in dermatology and cosmetic surgery.
