At least 125 more people have died of COVID-19 related illnesses. This brings the total death toll in the country to nearly 51,000.
The health department said 638 more COVID-19 infections have been reported in the last 24 hours. Active cases continue to decline in the country.
There are now less than 29,000 active cases, down by nearly 700 from Monday. Coronavirus Hotline Number: 0800 029 999 from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
