The Health Department reported eight more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking South Africa’s death toll to 52,995.
A total of 452 new COVID-19 infections were confirmed. The country’s recovery rate stands at 95 percent, with a total of 1,478,088 recoveries.
