Marcus Mabusela (born in South Africa) is an actor, writer, and producer. He has gained much popularity for being a cast member in Judas Kiss, a serial aired on national television, SABC1.
He has landed several acting roles on television and stage plays. Marcus was on the Bertolt Brecht play titled The Caucasian Chalk Circle.

Background
As a South African actor of South African nationality, he hails from Temba, a small township beside Hammanskraal in Tshwane.
Education
He had his matriculation at Hoërskool Staatspresident C.R. Swart, Pretoria. To achieve accreditation, he attended Torque IT College and worked as an IT specialist in the banking industry for five years.
After saving enough money, he then proceeded with his academic pursuit. He could save enough money for a Theatre Making course at Market Theatre Laboratory (2012-2013).
Career
Mabusela has appeared in many stage plays including The Caucasian Chalk Circle and Ketekang: The Musical.
Among others, he has also appeared in My Children My Africa, Let The Right One In and Father Come Home.
As a producer and director, he is the brain behind Connection to Home. In 2016, it bagged an award at the Goree Island International Festival, Senegal.
Still, in 2016, it received a feature at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.

The Mzansi Magic drama series was based on the movie. Marcus appeared in Season 1, Episode 7.
In the next year came another acting opportunity. He guest-starred in one of the episodes of The Docket. Marcus appeared on Season 1, Episode 9 of the SABC3 police procedural series.
In 2019, he landed another guest role in Shadow, a popular Netflix superhero series on episode 6.
Still, in 2019, he guest-starred in Muvhango, an SABC2 soap opera. A recurring role on The Throne followed.
He played the role of Sizwe in the Mzansi Magic telenovela. Marcus made his debut in Season 1, Episode 192.
He landed another role in the Netflix series, the Ferguson Films-produced fantasy crime drama Kings of Jo’burb in 2010. On the show, he played the role of a prison guard.
Dead Places was the next Netflix series he was cast in 2021. A starring role in Lentswe: The Hidden Voice also came with the year.
The Mzansi Original Movie was aired on Mzansi Magic in January 2021.
In the same year, he appeared as a title character cast in Judas Kiss. The role on the SABC1 drama series earned him his first starring role on television.
The onscreen character Judas is handsome and of a street smart personality. His wife is architect Nandi (Angela Sithole). The series premiered on June 6, 2021.
