Dancer and choreographer Bontle Modiselle has been announced as this season’s host of Telkom Monate Vibes.
Bontle is taking over from YouTuber Lasizwe Dambuza, who hosted the first season of the SABC1 music show last year.
This season is set to run for 11 episodes, compared to nine episodes last season.
Telkom said they put together a line-up of bold and dynamic musicians from different genres on stage with a live band.
Bontle will be interviewing South African stars such as Boity, Costa Titch, Blaq Diamond, Afrotraction, Cassper Nyovest, A-Reece, Yanga Chief, Sjava, Big Zulu, Winnie Mashaba, Kelly Khumalo, Maleh, Langa Mavuso and more.
Gugu Mthembu, chief marketing officer for the telecommunications provider, said the show goes hand in hand with their summer campaign.
“In line with our Summer 2021 proposition under the banner Monate Waya Waya, we are extending the feeling of summer this year and luckily for the viewers, it means even more entertainment and performances this time around. We are bringing them more artists and much more varied genres. So be ready to be entertained!” said Gugu.
