Dineo Ranaka being sacked from Metro FM isn’t the first time a television or radio host has fallen into boiling water over questionable comments or actions they deemed harmless. Dineo recently landed in hot waters after joining the Umlando challenge trend and rocked it on top of Metro FM’s furniture. The presenter’s suspension sparked outrage on Twitter and saw celebrities like Pearl Thusi rallying behind her.

This is not the first time Metro has fired or sacked a presenter, we’ve seen bigger presenters going down via SMS even for unreasonable actions.
