Finneas O’Connell was born on 30 July 1997 in Los Angeles, the largest city in California in the United States. His mother is a screenwriter named Maggie Baird while his father is an actor and musician named Patrick O’Connell.
His parents are notable personalities in the American entertainment industry and had influenced him and his sister.
At twelve, he was already attending songwriting lessons with his mother and started to write and produce songs.
He helps his younger sister Billie Eilish with writing music for her. He tries to write songs that she can relate to thereby writing from her perspective and for her vocal range.
Personal Life
Finneas is of Irish and Scottish descent and the older brother of the popular Grammy Award-Winning Billie Eilish. Both his parents are musicians and may have influenced his choice of career.

Career
Finneas is the songwriter and the lead singer of the all-original Alternative Pop-Rock Band The Slightlys. He released his debut solo single titled, “New Girl” in 2016, and three years later, he dropped the music video.
The Los Angeles-born artist released the single i’m in Love Without You in 2017 and eight other singles in 2018.
In 2019, Finneas played his first sold-out headline shows in the cities of New York and Los Angeles. He dropped his debut EP in October 2019.
Shelter is the title of his second single released in August 2019 and the single I Don’t Miss You At All followed in September.
