Sekhukhune United midfielder Willard Katsande has suffered yet another traumatic incident after he was hijacked in Johannesburg
The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has confirmed that he lost his money, and business property while his car was damaged.
‘King Salt’ says he is still traumatised because of his previous road rage incident that left him bruised and his SUV badly damaged – an event that occurred in Roodepoort last year.
According to KickOff, Katsande recently spent some time in his home country, Zimbabwe, but experienced this unfortunate incident at a shopping mall in Southgate on Tuesday.
“I’m traumatised right now because of my previous road rage experience,” the DStv Premiership campaigner told KickOff.
“I have been left with bruises because the three guys who hijacked me in the parking lot at Southgate Mall dragged me on the ground.
“The car has been recovered in Eldorado Park but is badly damaged inside and ransacked of my belongings inside the vehicle.
“This is a huge inconvenience considering that there was business property inside the car which will now affect the business.”
In the wake of the robbery, the former Warriors international parted ways with thousands of rands including his cellphone.
The veteran midfield anchor has suffered a massive blow as he is focusing on building his clothing brand, Boss Ya Mboka Kitoko Makasi, and the construction business.
However, through a tracking company, he managed to track and recover his car as it was located in Eldorado Park but it is damaged.
The football publication indicates that the ex-Ajax Cape Town player has since opened a case with the South African police.
