Cardi B went on her Instagram Live to announce another remarkable statement that has sparked mixed feelings among her fans. She stated that the song will not have a music video because of some problems she’s having with her record label. Talking about the fresh single slated to be released tomorrow, the rapper had first disclosed it during BET Awards 2022 carried out on Sunday, June 26. And just a day afterward, Cardi posted the cover art of her song, promptly taking her fans into a fuss. The song will be released on major streaming platforms on July 1, 2022.
The misty cover art headlines the female emcee lounging in the backseat of a swanky car while wearing a metallic bikini and a set of futuristic sunglasses. Cardi B was also flaunting her massive thigh tattoo in the cover art, and the names of the other rap artists were shown as well. For the unversed, ‘Hot S**t’ will be Cardi B’s first solo single since her 2021 delivery ‘Bet It’. For the main portions of the year, Cardi B united hands with other artists like Summer Walker, SZA, Lizzo, and Normani.
Overall, she’s been taking the rollout of her single very well, she is taking an incremental strategy. On June 26, she disclosed that the tune is called “Hot Sh*t” and that it’s set to reach us tomorrow Friday, July 1. After that, she joked about “another surprise for y’all” coming yesterday at around 8 p.m. Politely, the news got to us, and it’s huge that everybody is talking about it. Everybody. What draws more attention to it is the fact that the song “Hot Sh*t” is joint work with Kanye West and Lil Durk.

The ‘WAP’ hitmaker in the same announcement also revealed that she will be collaborating with rap icon Kanye West and new-age rapper Lil Durk on her upcoming release.
