A war is brewing between DJ Qness and SheraTheDJ for a delayed payment and Entertainment SA has gathered that the young deejay is frustrated.
Qness, (Qhubani Ndlovu) is said to owe the stunning deejay, Sihle Dlamini, an amount to the tune of R12 000 for the services she rendered at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Sunday World reports that SheraTheDJ was the closing act at the South African Amapiano Awards six months ago and Qness is now in trouble.
Dlamini alleges that she is yet to receive what is due to her as she performed at the glittering event. The publication reports that there have been several messages exchanged between the two musicians.
Dlamini also argues that DJ Qness is sending her from pillar to post and that their delay was because of a change of accountants.
“Later on when doing a follow-up, I was told that they were changing accountants and that my money would be paid soon,” the publication reports.
On behalf of SA Amapiano Awards as the head of operations, Pleasure Mmutle, confirmed the delay of the payment owed to Dlamini.
“Yes I am aware of Sherah’s delay in payment for the lunch I hosted, but as communicated with her, it is being sorted. I look forward to working with her again in the near future,” he told Sunday World.
Moreover, it is indicated that Dlamini blames DJ Qness for avoiding her telephone calls and also made a follow-up via emails but to no avail.
As part of making efforts to receive the payment, a letter of demand states that she was supposed to have received R12 000, 30 days after the ceremony she was booked for.
