Fans of Sylvester Stallone demand a full refund when the actor exits an event earlier than scheduled

Sylvester Stallone’s fans were left upset after the actor departed a pricey meet-and-greet event sooner than scheduled.

According to aceshowbiz.com, the 76-year-old celebrity was hired for ‘Experience With Sylvester Stallone LIVE’, an event sponsored by a firm named Experience With.

Fans were allegedly allowed to eat supper, hear the actor speak onstage, and bid on signed items throughout the event.

Ticket packages ranging in price from $750 to $1250 were offered, with some including a picture opportunity (about R12 900 and R22 000).

According to reports, several fans who purchased the package were upset when time ran out and Sly left before everyone had their photo taken with him.

According to TMZ, an email addressed to the disgruntled fans stated, “The reason the photos did not go as planned is that Mr Stallone had to leave the event earlier than expected and was not feeling 100 percent. Our events can be very demanding, we have to respect the celebrities’ wishes at all times.”

However, a source close to the actor informed the site that Sly’s contract only required him to stay for a set amount of time for the photo ops and that he stayed for far longer than he was required to.

The insider is claimed to have criticised the event planners for overselling the quantity of packages offered during the restricted period of time given.

The company, Experience With, has since taken to Instagram to break its silence to the disappointed fans.

It stated, “Our hearts go out to the customers at the end who missed out to get their photo with their hero, the events game is pure except for the unexpected and this was one of those moments.

“There were a number of unforeseen circumstances and no one was to blame. We have to respect the wishes of the celebrity at all times.

“We are working through customers affected and have emailed to all directly to resolve so everyone is satisfied.”

One admirer took to the post’s comments to express her outrage about the situation, pleading for a refund.

“Less time posting pictures and a little more time answering emails will be great, still waiting for my photo op refund,” the comment read.

According to The Mirror, the company admitted that around 100 fans were left without images, despite only receiving 60% of the promised shots.

According to Experience With, all clients have been contacted and offered full refunds or the opportunity to attend another event with ‘The Expendables’ hunk in the future.
