Kings of Joburg star and businessman Thapelo Mokoena has launched his new range especially designed for those who love their beards.
Mokwena headed to Twitter and uploaded images of him displaying his brand now known as Bakoena Beard Care.
As a man who boasts a tinted beard, the Bulletproof actor announced on social media on Thursday that his Bakoena Beard Care range will be a game-changer for men.
“Grooming is a very important part of the African man’s daily routine and Bakoena Beard Care was developed for the modern African man who is looking to enhance that trendy bearded look,” said Mokoena.
“As someone who has enjoyed experimenting with scents, textures, and products, I decided to embark on an experiential journey to create authentically African products which cater to the unique needs and textures of African hair and skin.”
Working with him is none other than an award-winning aesthetician and somatologist, Jared Hines, who played a massive role in bringing his vision to life.
The products are infused with the scents of an African home and pay tribute to Mokoena’s Basotho and Zulu lineage.
“If a man’s crown is represented by his beard, and his wisdom by how well he nurtures it, then where we’re from, we call that man a real goat,” Mokoena said in the promotional video.
ESA recently posted that US filmmaker Janicza Bravo had revealed tips and the simple tool that helped to transform her skin.
Bravo said she never bothered to look at herself until Covid-19 hit the world in 2022 – that’s when it all changed for her.
“It made me have different feelings about my face,” she recalls before breaking into a laugh.
“Suddenly, I was like, ‘Oh no, what’s happening? Maybe I want to inject my forehead…Should I have buccal fat removal in my cheeks?’”
