Gugulethu Khumalo, often known as Berita, had one of the most exciting 2022s that most can boast about. It all started when she announced her divorce from her spouse, Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi. She chose this stance once the former music mogul became a social media tyrant.
Following that, Berita would find herself at the centre of headlines as Nota begged her to return to him only to alter his tune five minutes later by labelling her broke, unsuccessful, or a “try hard” slay queen. Berita initially disregarded the jabs, then became obsessed with forcing him to stop, and finally returned to her original settings.
Following her most recent post, it’s possible that she’s calmed down because she’s found a new boyfriend, as tweeps suspected.
Berita appears to be obsessed with tennis. Msaki, her friend and fellow musician, was the first to share this knowledge to her. Earlier in the month, Berita wrote a heartfelt post devoted to her, with some of the photographs showing them on the tennis court.
Msaki and Berita’s relationship began when they were still striving for the recognition they currently enjoy in the Eastern Cape. The two, along with Zahara, are two of the most renowned musicians who have received national and worldwide fame after “coming up” in the industry around the same time.
Back to Berita and whether or not she has moved on… When the artist recently headed to Twitter to share a few of photographs from her tennis session. Tweeps were fixated on the opening frame, in which Berita appeared to be playing against an unknown opponent.
As a result, tweeps were quick to wonder if there was indeed someone messing with her/taking the image in question. This is because Berita’s refusal to divulge who she was playing against led some to suspect it was a male she isn’t ready to show off just yet due to Nota’s behaviour.
But it doesn’t mean the good sis hasn’t moved on, especially given the latest jab she made at Nota. As previously reported:
Berita looks to have graduated from the school of shadow at the top of her class. As she resorts to Twitter to poke fun at her estranged and contentious spouse, Nota Baloyi.
Evidently, Nota Baloyi gained the moniker Kanye West due to his frequent, if not constant, outbursts on social media. Even Berita was compelled to leave her married home since things had become too difficult for her. Baloyi immediately attacked, mocked, and tortured her on Twitter when she left Nota Baloyi.
Berita, on the other hand, is receiving a standing ovation for her remark regarding Kanye West remarrying. Tweeps are also sure that she may have taken a shot at Nota Baloyi, who has been labelled the Kanye West of South Africa.
“I just heard the best news ever!!! KANYE WEST HAS REMARRIED” wrote Berita.
