Khuli Chana, a South African rap singer, recently revealed that he received an Honours degree in innovation and entrepreneurship from AFDA, the School for the Creative Economy.
Chana also announced on Instagram that he has received the 2022 Invention of the Year award.

“What an amazing journey, Thank you Wendy Van Schalkwyk, Bozuko Nomlala, and Bata Passchier for your support and giving me the opportunity to learn and grow.”
He also thanked his wife, Lamiez Holworthy, for believing in him and assured that this was just the beginning.

For the past year, the “Tswa Daar” hitmaker has prioritised business, education, and other pursuits. Khuli Chana Studios, a content creation centre for creatives and a studio area that includes TV production equipment, sound, live streaming, and music production, debuted last year.
He teamed up with Mitsubishi Motors South Africa last week to continue his annual aim of donating 100 pairs of school uniform to 100 youngsters. The programme is part of his work with his Charity, the Khuli Chana Foundation, which aims to address issues in our educational system.
“Every year we strive to donate 100 school uniforms to a 100 students with the @khulichanafoundation, this year we donated 100 school uniforms to Dimapo Primary School in Bethanie North West.
“We partnered with @mitsu_motors the brand that has been behind us going the #ExtraMile since we started this initiative last year. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this years event a success.”
