The Premier Soccer League released the list of nominees for its end-of-the-season awards as they were unveiled on Thursday.
As expected, new 2022/23 DStv Premiership champions, Mamelodi Sundowns are dominating the list of nominees and are followed by Orlando Pirates.
Judging the list in a statement that was issued to the media by the league’s governing body, Kaizer Chiefs players have failed to impress the adjudicators.
Sundowns boss Rulani Mokwena has been given the nod for the DStv Premiership Coach of the Season but he will battle it out against SuperSport United’s Gavin Hunt and Pirates’ Jose Riveiro.
For the Midfielder of the Season, Themba Zwane, Teboho Mokoena, and Monnapule Saleng of Pirates all received recognition for this category.
