Mac G, the host of the controversial Podcast and Chill has decided to put a ring on the finger of his long-term partner, Naledi during the Podcast and Chill: Road to 1 million Live event on Sunday 30 July at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.
Mac G was seen gushing about the love of his life in the new video that is trending social media, and he has revealed how she has been supportive towards him over the years.
He said there was his lady by his side, before all of the fame came. She stood next to him and told him he can do this! “She told me baby ‘There’s no one else who can do this’”, he said.
Mag G went on to tell his Chillers family about how when he never had any money, his girlfriend, Naledi not only encouraged him to strive for the best, but she also supported him when he was “broke”. That was just before he went down on one knee.
Mac G said: “When we just had an I-pad, she did the first show, when I was out, broke, and didn’t have any money, I crashed into her apartment. It was as big as this corner right here, but we chilled and she stuck with me. She’s the only women who loved me when I didn’t have a show, when I was a nobody. Man, the stories that I can tell you about this lady, is incredible”
When he finally went down on his knee, the entertainer asked his lover to marry him. “But because tonight, everybody I love is here… Naledi Monamodi will you please spend the rest of your life with me?”, he asked while laughing at Naledi who is visibly in shock.
Monamodi paces around the stage trying to gather herself. She gets hyped and encouraged by the audience and her son, and so a few minutes later she walks towards Mac G and says “YES!”.
Before getting a “Yes”, Mac G’s son is also seen congratulating his dad with a handshake.
This proposal comes after Mac G, Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady celebrate the Podcast and Chill podcast reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube.
