The Miss SA 2020 top three finalist, who then became crowned Miss SA 2023 at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on Sunday the 13th of August, Bryoni Govender, who was the runner up has been announced as SA’s representative for Miss Universe.
Miss Universe has made an announcement that Bryoni Govender will be representing South Africa at the international pageant to be held in El Salvador, central America in November this year. Meanwhile here at home, Natasha has begun her reign as Miss SA with interviews and appearances.
The Miss South Africa website mentions that the organisation is a leadership platform for ambitious young South African women.
This year the finalists’ journey was a very different, as the Top 12 finalists competed for seven spots on a reality show titled Crown Chasers. So, five of the Top 12 were eliminated from the pageant.
The finale was hosted by media personality Bonang Matheba.
