Rapper Blueface proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Jaidyn Alexis at during the Los Angeles Rams vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game at SoFi Stadium on Sunday (October 22).
Jaidyn, who seemed to be taken by surprise, said “yes” as a 30-karat diamond ring slid on her finger. He described tis as the “best day ever”.
Blueface and Jaidyn have been dating since high school and have two children together. The couple recently revealed that their relationship has been on and off over the years. Some controversy can be attributed to the history between Blue and his baby momma, Chrisean Rock whom he has a month old son with.
Before proposing, Blueface posted a video of himself in the mirror in the bathroom talking to himself as he tried to calm his nerves. In the video, Blue can he heard saying “I’m ’bout to propose to Jaidyn, I’m so nervous. I know she’s gon say yes, but the timing. I’m at this game. Ion halftime, the timing is weird. I think Imma bring everybody in, make it personal and intimate, but I’m just so nervous,” Blue said.
As soon as the perfect moment presented itself, Blue summoned the room with what looked like his friends so he could make his special announcement.
“Y’all know I love Jaidyn, right? Y’all know she’s the woman of my dreams, right?”. These words were followed by the proposal.
Fans sent in congratulatory messages to the couple wishing them all the best while some comments suggested that the proposal isn’t genuine.
On Instagram, @ayeyo_zac wrote “This doesn’t feel genuine tho. It’s out of hurt to hurt someone else (Chrisean) and it’s to get back at his moms…. Cause she really clowned her the other day really bad. Nevertheless congrats and hopefully he stop cheating and actually do the real husband duties… ????????”.
After the news broke, Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Harvey, took to social media to express her disappointment in her son’s decision.
“Did this ninja propose to the maid. Oh well it is October,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “You in charge, congratulations… Now tell the people you married the maid just in case you go to prison. The end.”
Blue fired back at his mother with several tweets speaking on her marriage, and motherhood.
“Karlissa, my wife ring is bigger and more valuable than yours,” he wrote. “Since you wanna compete with my wife let’s go ring for ring. Post yo ring an ima post mine you wanna compare bootys right karlissa ? let’s compare rings let’s see what typa ring that old Booty got an what typa ring that new Booty got my wife gone always win.”
Blue went on to call his mother a “wh*re” for marrying three times and having three different fathers to her children.
“Been married 3 times 3 kids by 3 different men an never married none of them men only random men she liked with a lot of money so she could divorce an take from them an at the end of it all she’s sleeping with a bum every night sad story fr could never respect her as a women,” he said.
