Police Confirm Shooting at Drake’s House; One Person Hospitalized

Canadian rapper Drake’s Toronto mansion is currently under investigation following a reported overnight shooting incident.

Police taped off the OVO boss’s property after a shooting near his mansion resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries, specifically a gunshot wound to the chest.

Authorities confirmed that the victim is not Drake and has been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, as reported by Toronto’s City News. Toronto police received reports of the shooting around 2:09 a.m. ET in the upscale Bridle Path neighbourhood.

A person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after an overnight shooting at a Toronto home owned by Drake.

The suspect allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle, although no descriptions of the individual or the car have been provided thus far.

Investigation and further inquiries are currently ongoing.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear. However, it occurs against the backdrop of an ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, both of whom have been releasing new diss tracks regularly.
