Beauty gone wrong is what is happening in the household of the Kardashians as Kylie is trending for getting lip fillers dissolved after getting criticised online. She altered her lips after she got dragged on X, however, it just made the situation worse.
Kylie Jenner talked about how her decision to remove half of her lip filler was inspired by a user ‘X’ after criticizing her appearance on the internet. Different people had different emotions about her decision. Some were sympathetic to her and offered support but some thought it was incredibly stupid for you as a person to go ruin any feature of yourself or your body to please another person on social media who does not know you.
The businesswoman has always been looked up to in terms of beauty and money from a very young age, she put up a beauty standard that many young girls should look up to. She called this process of removing her lip filler a ‘journey’ and contrasted it to real-life challenges. The larger effects of beauty standards and the impact of celebrities is an epidemic we struggle with today because they make many young girls feel the need to look a certain way to be defined as beautiful, but many others say it’s the standard she put out to the world so, therefore, why should we feel sorry for her.?
