Halle Berry Exits Kim Kardashian’s Legal Drama “All’s Fair”

In a surprising twist, Halle Berry has reportedly exited Kim Kardashian’s highly anticipated legal drama, “All’s Fair.” Just a week ago, the 57-year-old Hollywood star was announced as part of the cast for the show, created by “American Horror Story” mastermind Ryan Murphy. The star-studded line-up includes Glenn Close and reality TV mogul-turned-actress Kim Kardashian.

However, Variety has now revealed that Halle Berry has “bowed out of the show due to a scheduling conflict.” Berry was not only set to star but also to serve as an executive producer. With her departure, she will no longer be involved in any capacity.

The series is set to focus on an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. While specific details about Halle’s character were kept under wraps, the premise promises a compelling legal drama. Ryan Murphy is set to write, direct, and executive produce the project, marking his first series under a new deal with Disney after his Netflix agreement ended.

Joining Murphy as executive producers are Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Scott Robertson, and Eric Kovtun. Kim, who made her acting debut as publicist Siobhan Corbyn in “American Horror Story: Delicate,” received rave reviews for her performance. The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, even hinted at a future starring role for Kim, given the positive reception.

In a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” Murphy praised Kim’s performance, saying, “You were really, really good to the point where they called me and were like, ‘Do you think Kim would want to do her own show?’ ” Kim humorously responded in a confessional, unsure of what she had “got herself into” and wondering if she could “really pull this off.”

Murphy’s pitch for Kim’s potential series involved her playing “the world’s best, most expensive divorce lawyer” running her own all-female law firm. Given Kim’s real-life experience with divorce—having filed from Kanye West in early 2021 and finalizing the split the following year—she quipped that she “has some experience” in the field.

Murphy joked that they might need to “build a sound stage outside” Kim’s home to accommodate her busy schedule. The mother-of-four, who has kids North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm with Kanye, is also balancing law school, her reality show, and various businesses. Kim suggested she’ll have more time after taking the bar exam in 2025.
