Chidimma Adetshina, Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, has added another prestigious title to her already resume, which is Brand Ambassador for Enugu State. The 23-year-old beauty queen is still taking in the moment after being officially appointed by the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, during a grand ceremony on Thursday.
Taking to Instagram, Chidimma shared her excitement with her followers, posting a series of stunning images from the ceremony alongside Governor Mbah. Her caption was filled with emotion as she reflected on her journey: “I received the honor of being in the presence of the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah. Upon my homecoming, I was received and appointed as the brand ambassador of Enugu State. I cannot express my gratitude for all the great things I have achieved in my father’s land. Again… Nigeria, THANK YOU for picking me up when I was on my knees.”
Governor Mbah didn’t hold back in his admiration for Chidimma, emphasizing why she was the perfect choice to represent Enugu State. He highlighted her story as one of resilience and determination, values deeply embedded in the spirit of Ndi Enugu.
“Her journey to this remarkable achievement, despite numerous challenges, is a testament to the grit and perseverance that we, as Ndi Enugu, are known for. I am incredibly proud to congratulate her on this accomplishment and welcome her back home.”
