A manhunt is underway for two prisoners who escaped from the Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Centre in Pretoria.
One of the escapees is serving a life sentence for rape, robbery and kidnapping.
The other is said to be serving 20 years for house-breaking crimes. Correctional Services is investigating how they managed to escape.
