The number of active cases in the country continues to decline and is now at just under 44,000.
This is due to a 93,8 percent recovery rate, that has seen over 1,4-million people survive the virus.
Over 1-and-a-half-million people have been infected, 1,690 of those in the past 24 hours.
Sadly, 81 more deaths have been reported, taking the death toll to almost 49,000.
In terms of the vaccine rollout, as of 6 pm on Saturday, 10,414 healthcare workers have been vaccinated.
