Tbo Touch turns to legal team to silence social media user Musa Khawula

Popular South African social media commentator and blogger Musa Khawula has dropped a bombshell and serious allegations involving Metro FM disc Jockey, Tbo Touch.

The Twitter user alleges that the seasoned radio host and deejay is facing allegations of fraud where he paid himself three salaries at the cash-strapped Soweto TV.

Khawula posted a thread on his timeline, saying Thabo Molefe is accused of running the Soweto-based television station to the ground.

However, it seems the famed broadcaster is not impressed and has vowed to fight the social media user while involving his legal team.

“Tbo Touch is accused of running Soweto TV to the ground. – Tbo Touch is accused of paying himself 3 times – as a CEO, as a Director of a sales company MVM & paying his company Touch HD with Soweto TV’s funds but his company does not render any services at the station. A THREAD,” he wrote.

According to Sunday World, Molefe has threatened to forge ahead with a legal fight back and ordered Khawula to delete the messages before Thursday.

The social networker is unfazed and dared Touch to bring on the fight in what will be a nasty and ugly battle.

“You made the statements for your personal benefit to boost your social media popularity and relevance without making any attempt to verify any facts concerning the matters that you have published on your Twitter account,” a letter from SGA Law Africa reads in part.

With Khawula boasting more than 200 000 Twitter followers, the news has definitely caught the attention of scores of followers but he also responds, that he is not scared of a legal battle.

Meanwhile, the letter from Molefe’s lawyers also ordered Khawula to issue an apology before 16:00 on Thursday, but it remains to be seen if the social media user will eventually abide by the orders.
