Kim Kardashian Opens Up About “Cleaning Up” After Kanye West

In a new season of The Kardashian Kim Kardashian broke her silence on her public dispute with her ex-husband Kanye West, and shared why she’s been so quiet and not acting against Kanye. “There’s been a lot going on with Kanye right now. Things are going on in the media — radio shows and interviews,” she said at the very end of the episode. “Even through all the craziness of everything that Kanye says about us, I never comment, I never post. He has made up the most insane narrative about [Kris] and the [sex] tape. We stay silent through all the lies, all the stuff.”

In a new episode, she shared how she’s struggling with co-parenting with the rapper. She said, she doesn’t feel the need to speak about the struggles she’s facing with her ex-husband and that she doesn’t have to say anything negative about the father of her kids. “I just still feel the need to not talk about it and protect it for my kids,” she added, “I always will feel that way. But God, if people knew. I just would never do that to my kids. But it’s really crazy.”

Kim shared how she was the one who had to “clean up” after Kanye when he had his public outburst or controversies. “Sometimes I feel like if he were to hit rock bottom, that’s his journey that he needs to figure out on his own,” Kim said. “I used to run around and call everyone behind his back and be like, ‘It’s going to be okay, don’t worry, just give him another chance.’ I don’t have that energy [anymore].”

The SKIMS founder admitted that “It’s the hardest feeling to watch someone you really loved and you have a family with just be so different than who you knew.”

In a conversation with her mother, Kris Jenner, Kim said that in order for the Yeezy founder to realised the core impact of his actions he need to hit “rock bottom.”

“Sometimes I feel like if he were to hit rock bottom, that’s his journey that he needs to figure out on his own. I used to run around and call everyone behind his back, and be like, ‘It’s gonna be OK, it’s gonna be OK, don’t worry. Just give him another chance,'” she said. “I used to spend hours and hours and hours of my day to be the clean-up crew. I just don’t have that energy.”

Kris told her daughter, “Well, that’s why you got divorced because you can’t do that to yourself. You never deserve to live like that.”

When Kris said that The reality show star  and Kanye’s oldest daughter, North West,9,  might be in tuned with everything going on but won’t say anything, Kim shared that North is unaware of the controversies surrounding her father.

“She actually doesn’t know and that’s what’s so crazy. When stuff is said, it’s a chain to my whole household. No TV, only Apple TV. I can’t risk an Access Hollywood … or anything on the news coming up with their dad mentioned and they want to watch,” she explained. “I have to figure out a way to protect and so they still haven’t seen anything, but then I go into crisis mode.”
