Mzansi’s media personality and actress Pearl Thusi recently caused a stir when she posted saucy images revealing her breasts and she remains unfazed.
Thusi was at a party and it has surfaced that she attended Rich Mnisi’s One Of One party with Adidas on June 10 – the images seriously went viral.
Following the images circulated on various social media platforms, the media personality was among the trending topics for a number of days.
However, she has responded to criticism that the pictures were inappropriate for a woman of her age and that she didn’t set a good example to the youngsters.
Thusi hit back at her naysayers, saying people must not act like they don’t know her boobs because she has played characters on television which forced her to go naked.
“Live your lives, ladies. You don’t need anyone’s permission,” she wrote on Instagram stories.
In a different social media post, Thusi addressed the topic, indicating that she has worn a similar look for magazine features and posing nude to shed light on social issues.
She added that people must stop acting like they have not seen her ‘ladies’ in her movies already. She explained that there was nothing new happening and she even did Marie Claire naked twice.
The stunning celebrity also attracted criticism from celebs such as ex-Real Housewives of Durban star Kgomotso Ndungane.
Ndungane headed to social media this week saying because she is a mother, Thusi had to be cognisant of how she chooses to conduct herself in public.
Entertainment SA also reported that Thusi has been under fire since the weekend after she posted her outfit that she wore at Murdah Bongz’s birthday party.
Becoming one of the top trending topics on Twitter, users were not impressed by the see-through outfit and complained that it was inappropriate for someone who is a parent and of Pearl’s age.
